MORE INFO ABOUT "ACCOUNTANT" TYPE OF JOBS

 

 

 

Doctor Holland called "conventional" the psychological desire to organize things. People who like when things are at the right place and at the right time. An orientation in Business Management could fit you. People who manage companies make decisions and take action to administrate and improve their business organization. Working in the industry can suit this tendency. Jobs in the industry can involve Planning, Quality Control, Transportation Management, Accounting and Finance. Another type of activity can be found in Justice (Lawyers, Judges) and in governmental or non-governmental organizations (Project Management).

Some noticeable figures of conventional jobs can be:

- Bill Gates. Bill Gates could be seen as an Investigator which also is - but if we consider his job as CEO of Microsoft, one of his most important task is to organize his company as an optimized system where each individual, each team can be as productive as possible.

Accountant is a "serious job" having people wearing formal, well-dressed, polite clothes, usually a suit or a uniform. "Conventional" jobs usually take place indoors in an office. Accountants are conventional jobs. But to symbolize conventional jobs, we may also use pictures of an agenda - a book in which people organize their time, where they take note of what's important, what they have to do and when they have meetings.

A conventional sector would be "justice", lawyers and judges are all "conventional" jobs but a sports referee is also a "conventional" job as his task is to identify who's right and who's not. Conventional jobs require to be responsible of our actions. We have to value morals. We need to know the rules, respect them and value them and implement them.

Conventional people like structure and planning. They also take part in strategical activities. A characteristic however of conventional personalities is to defend rather than to be offensive.
